Broomfield Community Center Renovations
Broomfield Community Center

Current News & Updates.............................................

The Broomfield Community Center Phase I Improvements project has been bid and the low bidder is within the revised budget estimate.  The Phase 1 project is ready to award; however, due to new and potentially costly findings regarding deficiencies with the existing pool, the Phase 1 project award is on hold until an appropriate course of action has been determined.

Additional Information.................................................

Renovations are currently underway at the Broomfield Community Center, 280 Spader Way. Originally built in 1974, and re-modeled in 1990, the center is undergoing needed repairs and improvements.

Improvements include a partial demolition of the north side of the facility to make room for a new two story addition to include new locker rooms on the first floor and group fitness on the second floor, and replacement of the elevator.

Repairs include  the replacement of the pool heating system, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system, and partial replacement of the roof.

The remainder of the proposed improvements are currently being designed.
