    The Deafhood Monologues is an episodic play of Deaf experiences, chronicles and reflections delivered through poetry, stories, and presentations in American Sign Language. Inspired by “Understanding Deaf Culture: In search of Deafhood” and “The Vagina Monologues”. Created by Ella Mae Lentz and produced by Deafhood Foundation. It's a fundraiser for our two organizations - Deafhood Foundation and Colorado Association for the Deaf.

  1. Children - Toddler Story Time

    September 28, 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Toddlers actively participate in stories, music and movement enhancing their social, emotional and language development while fostering a love for reading and books. Caregivers will be introduced to early literacy skills they can practice with their children to prepare them for successful learning when they enter school. It is a 30 minute program for children 21 to 35 months and a caregiver. Toddler time is presented 4 times a week. Mondays: 10-10:30 a.m. and repeated at 10:45-11:15 a.m. or Wednesday: 9:15-9:45 a.m. and repeated at 10-10:30 a.m. There are no drop-ins for Toddler Story Time, registration is required. These classes are for those who use English as a second language and do not specifically emphasize grammar or vocabulary. Conversation groups meet Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. No registration is needed.
