    The Boulder Opera is back with the popular Children Series! This December come see an adaptation of Donizetti’s “The Elixir of Love” for young audiences. Clumsy, shy Nemorino is in love. Unfortunately, the object of his affections, Adina, doesn’t feel the same way. As the dashing pilot Belcore arrives to sweep Adina off her feet, so enters Dr. Dulcamara with his famous “elixir of love”. Nemorino plans to use the elixir to make Adina fall head over heels for him. Will Adina choose Nemorino and end on a joyful high note? Sung in Italian with subtitles, this popular sweet and charming opera will delight young and old audiences. Featuring an ensemble orchestra led by Mathieu D’Ordine.

    In addition to his regular trio with Ryan Lee and Dominique Sanders, Paul will be presenting a program of newly composed original works along with two of the finest musicians in jazz today -- Logan Richardson (Paris, France -- Blue Note Records) on alto saxophone and Gabriel Mervine (Denver, CO -- the Motet) on trumpet. In looking to augment the "...spirited, seamless, and innovative" (04/16: JAM Magazine) energy from its January 2016 release "Into That Good Night", this group is looking to honor the tradition of jazz while looking forward towards new horizons.
