Transfer of Ownership on a Mobile Home

In order to change a title and transfer the ownership of a mobile home in the State of Colorado, you will need to obtain a tax authentication for the current tax year from the Broomfield Treasurers Office, which is located in Central Records Office at One DesCombes Drive.  Once this authentication is obtained, and the title is properly assigned, both documents can be taken into the motor vehicle office for a new title to be issued.  This must be done before the county assessor can update their ownership records on the mobile home.
