Motor Vehicle
| The primary task of the Motor Vehicle Department is the issuance of vehicle registration and titles. Our office is located at One DesCombes Drive in the City & County Building. Stop by if you need to change motor vehicle titles, obtain license plates, or to get handicapped placards. |

Effective July 1, 2006, Secure and Verifiable Identification is required for all titles, new registrations, temporary permits and handicap placards. The identification must be provided by the owner of record or with a power of attorney presented by the agent. The agent must have secure and verifiable identification to complete the transaction.
