There is hereby imposed, pursuant to section 29-11-101, C.R.S., et seq., upon all telephone exchange access facilities within the city an emergency telephone charge in the amount of $0.17 per subscriber line per month for purposes of defraying the cost of the E-911 emergency telephone service. Telephone service suppliers providing telephone service in the city are hereby authorized to collect the emergency telephone charge imposed by this chapter in accordance with section 29-11-101, C.R.S., et seq. (Ord. 583 §1, 1984)
