The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) is charged with making recommendations to the City Council regarding:

The committee also stays informed of current recreation activities and programs and the needs of the community.
There are seven at-large, City Council-appointed citizens with four- or two-year terms, and one ex-officio City Council member. Openings are advertised in the fall of each year, followed by City Council interviews. Terms start in April. Current members are:

The next meeting of PRAC will be a joint meeting with the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at 6 pm. Location TBD and will be posted as soon as possible. The public is welcome to attend.

The Committee helped to create two important policies that have been adopted by Resolution by the City Council. You may review the Rules for League Use of Ball Fields, the Signage Policy for Ball Fields, and the related Council memos.
