Elected by Ward for a 4-year term. Current term ends November, 2011.

Resident of Broomfield since shortly before she began fifth grade.

Education: Attended Emerald Elementary School, Broomfield Junior High School, Broomfield High School and graduated from Liberty Christian School. Attended Denver Baptist Bible College in Broomfield majoring in Secondary Education.

Public Service: Currently the City Council's appointee to the Colorado Municipal League Policy Committee, the Rocky Flats Stewardship Council and is president of the Broomfield Building Corporation. She serves on the Board of Directors of three non-profit charitable organizations in various capacities, and is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians.

Philosophy of local government:  "Municipal government has the ability to empower individual citizens like no other level of government can.  Each citizen's daily life is affected by the decisions made by their city council representatives.  For this reason it is essential that individuals get involved in the decision making process by making their position on issues known to their representatives.  I will work hard for and be accountable to the citizens of Ward 2 and will be honored to represent them."
