Municipal Court - restitution MUST be paid by cash or money order.  No credit card or personal checks accepted.

Effective March 1, 2008, the Broomfield Combined Courts will accept credit card payments via the internet at:
www.jbits.courts.state.co.us/cjop
This applies only to County and District court cases that have an outstanding balance.   A defendant making a payment on a case with an active Failure to Pay warrant will be alerted to make his/her payment in person since payments via the internet cannot be made if a warrant exists.
On-line record searches:
Co-Courts is a fee based on-line record search service who has agreed to act as agent for the Colorado Judicial Department to provide access to ICON (Integrated Colorado Online Network) for other vendors.  This service will allow you to look at the Register of Actions, an index to court documents and appearance dates.  A register of actions available on commercial sites include civil, civil water, small claims, domestic, felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases. Hard copy of documents from court files can only be obtained by actually visiting the court of record where the records are maintained and obtaining a copy from that court.  For more information regarding the on-line service visit the Co-Courts Website.
