election to be eligible to vote in an upcoming election

Q. What if I moved prior to 30 days
before an election?
A. You may still be eligible to vote. If you were
registered to vote at your previous address and that address was in Broomfield,
you will need to change your address before voting (see the question below for

information and keep your registration record active.
Q.
What is Mail-In Voting?
A. Rather than having to vote in-person at a polling location, you
may request that a ballot be mailed to you. To request a mail-in ballot,

also have the opportunity to request that your name be included on a permanent
mail-in ballot list. By doing this, you will not have to reapply for a
mail-in ballot every year.
Q. How do I properly mark my mail-in
ballot when I receive it?
A. Click here to
see instructions on how to properly mark a mail-in ballot.

What is a Provisional Ballot?
A. Provisional ballots are issued to voters whose names do not appear on the voter registration roles at
the polling place. Provisional ballots will also be issued to voters who
are unable to provide a form of identification at the polling place. The

the eligibility of provisional voters. If the provisional voter is determined
eligible, their ballot will be counted. The provisional ballot total will
be included with the election results once this verification process is
complete.
