Q. What does term
limited mean?
A. Term limits is a law found
in the Colorado Constitution. (Article XVIII Section 11)
In order to
broaden the opportunities for public service and to assure that elected official
of governments are responsive to the citizens of those governments, no judicial
elected official of any county, city and county, city, town, school district,
service authority, or any other political subdivision of the State of Colorado,
no member of the state board of education and no elected member of the governing board of a
state institution of higher education shall serve more than two consecutive
terms in office, except that with respect to terms of office which are two years
or shorter in terms in duration, no such elected official shall serve more than
three consecutive terms in office.

that you are registered in the City and County of Broomfield go to

Voter Info site. To see if you are registered in another Colorado county,
visit the Colorado Secretary of State’s
online registration site or call
the Broomfield Elections Office at
303-464-5857.

Where do I
register to vote?
A. You may register to at the Colorado Secretary of State’s
online registration site
or in person at the Broomfield Elections Office or at any Colorado State
Drivers License office.

Do I
need to
change my address
if I have moved?
A. Yes, You can
update your address online at the Colorado Secretary of State’s
online registration site or you can stop by the Broomfield Elections
Office in the City and
County
Building.
You may also complete a voter registration form and email it to
electionsdivsion@broomfield.org.
Q. Can I change my name, address or party affiliation over
the phone?
A.
No.
Any type of change must be done in writing or by completing and
submitting a
voter registration form.

Will my voter registration be
cancelled if I missed voting in
any one election?
A.
No. If you fail to vote in a
General election, the
Broomfield Elections Office
will mail you a notification. The notification will inform you that, according
to our records you did not vote in the last election. By signing and
returning the notification to the elections office, we will update any new
information and keep your registration record active.
