The Engineering staff creates and monitors engineering requirements for the
design and construction of street and traffic systems, water systems,
sanitary sewer, park systems and drainage facilities. The intent of these
works is to maintain and improve our citizens’ quality of life, protect the
environment and anticipate future needs of the community. Work is
accomplished by highly trained employees in a professional and respectful
manner.
The 2007 Edition of the Standards and Specifications
is now available online, a hardcopy and CD are also available. Please
contact the Engineering Division at 303-438-6380 for more information on
purchasing a hardcopy or CD.

within the Department of Community Development. Our offices are located

RTD's new US 36 & Broomfield
Event Center Transit Facility is under Construction just south of the Event
Center. The Center pier in the middle of the highway is complete along
with the abutments on either side. The pedestrian bridge is scheduled
to be put in place later this year, with the opening of the new RTD station
in late spring of 2010.
