Tree-limb Recycling drop-off open!

No Commercial Dumping.  Tree Limb Recycling drop-off is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays 1-5 p.m. only.  The site is closed at all other times.  The drop-off will be open year-round, weather permitting.  This program is for Broomfield residents only and staff will check I.D.'s!

West Nile Virus/Integrated Pest Management  Seminar/Mosquito Fish Giveaway - Saturday, June 6

This year, Environmental Services will be teaming with the Open Space and Trails Department to celebrate National Trails Day at the Broomfield Trail Adventure. Join us at the end of your trail adventure or just stop by our tent to learn more about West Nile Virus.  

The event will be at Aspen Creek K-8 School, 5500 Aspen Creek Drive. Take Sheridan Blvd. north to Aspen Creek Drive, which is just north of 136th Avenue.

Colorado Mosquito Control will provide the most up-to-date information on methods for controlling mosquitoes, and free mosquito-eating fish will be given away. Contact the Mosquito Hotline at 303-558-8730 or rkozar@comosquitocontrol.com  for more information.

Waste Motor Oil and Cooking Oil Recycling

The popular year-round waste oil recycling program is available at the Norman Smith Service Center located at 3001 W. 124th Ave. Broomfield residents may drop used motor oil or cooking oil Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. - noon.  There is a 5-gallon per household, per-month limit.
