Beginning May 1st The City and County of Broomfield's Voluntary Watering Guidelines are in affect for 2006!

6,13,20 Spring Clean-up Days in May! 
One of three Saturdays, May 6, 13 or 20.
  New curbside pick-up for the 2006 Spring Clean-up program.  This program is for Broomfield residents to dispose of large non-hazardous items not normally taken curbside by the trash haulers. Check the map for your designated pick up day  MAP.  Don't miss your pick up day! There will be no drop off program.
13th Toxic Free Housecleaning Workshop

11:00 a.m.-noon at the Broomfield Recycling Center.
Jump into your spring cleaning while saving money and the environment.  Learn to make effective household cleaning supplies without using toxic chemicals.  Bring your own bottles to take home your own environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.  Contact the Broomfield Recycling Center  at 303-404-2839 or genevieve@ecocycle.org for more details.
14th Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Day Saturday May 20th by Appointment Only at the Norman Smith Service Center-Broomfield Residents only, please contact Kathy at 303-438-6336  or kschaefer@Broomfield.org for an appointment!

Year-round Waste Oil Recycling- The popular year round waste oil recycling program is available at the Norman Smith Service Center located at 3001 W. 124th Ave. Broomfield residents may drop used motor oil Tuesday through Friday 8:00am-3:00pm and the first Saturday of every month from 8:00-Noon.  There is a 5 gal per household per month limit. 13th West Nile Virus/Mosquito Management Seminar
Saturday, July 13th, 7-8:00 p.m. at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library (2nd floor), 3 Community Park Drive.  Marshall Lipps from Colorado Mosquito Control will provide the most up to date information on controlling mosquitoes and West Nile Virus.
