Happy New Year!
The
Broomfield Recycling Center will have a TEMPORARY
Wrapping Paper recycling collection. From December 26th through January
31st, wrapping paper will be accepted in the bin marked “Paperboard” at the
Broomfield Recycling Center (225 Commerce St., Broomfield.) Please do not
place wrapping paper at the curb for recycling. Wrapping paper will not be
accepted any other time of year because it is difficult and costly to recycle
due to the large amount of ink and the low fiber content. Please note that the
following items are NOT recyclable: tissue paper, metallic paper, ribbons,
bows, construction paper, and fluorescent or dark-colored papers, such as dark
red or green envelopes. (Glossy greeting cards of any color are acceptable.)
