Class Offering!
Custom Hand Painted Artwork Made from Reusable Materials
When: Saturday, February 19, 2011
9 to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Broomfield Recycling Center, 225 Commerce St.
The City & County of Broomfield’s Environmental Services Division
and a local artist will show you how to "upcycle" and make new things
from old things. Making a piece of art from recycled fabric is a
fantastic way to save the budget and help reuse old cloth.
All materials and supplies will be provided during the class. You
will take home a custom piece of fine hand painted art.
Only 15
slots are available for adults, so please register for the class. Contact Environmental Services at 303.438.6329 or e-mail.
Always open!
For Broomfield residents only. NO COMMERCIAL, PLEASE!
The Broomfield Recycling Center underwent renovations in November
2009. Now open with new and easier guidelines for recycling.
Thank you for your commitment to recycling! We hope you will enjoy
and appreciate the changes we have made to reduce the number of our
hauls by one-third, reduce operating costs, and reduce our carbon
footprint these past few months.
Our Education Center is now open
to offer environmental classes for Broomfield residents. To be
apprised of our upcoming classes, please refer to our Community
Calendar, web page, or Channel 8.
