DRAFT Minutes Meeting #9

 January 14, 2010

Meeting Summary

In this ninth meeting, the Task Force presented their proposed action steps for the natural resources and energy groups. The Task Force voted to keep, change, or drop each proposed policy or action step. Since the committee did not have time to vote on the community education, transportation, and economic development policies and action steps, it was decided the open house for the community would be pushed back to March and the Task Force would hold another meeting in February to vote on these proposed policies and action steps. At the open house in March, the Task Force will be presenting the proposed policies and action steps to the community for feedback.

The Task Force voted to keep, change, or drop each proposed policy and action step in the natural resources and energy groups.  Revisions were made to be presented to the community at the sustainability open house.  The Task Force voted to hold another meeting on February 24 to continue to vote on the community education, transportation, and economic development sections of the sustainability plan.  The open house is scheduled to be pushed back to March.
