DRAFT Minutes Meeting #10

 February 24, 2010

Meeting Summary

In this tenth meeting, the Task Force presented their proposed action steps for the community education, transportation and economic development groups. The Task Force voted to keep, change, or drop each proposed policy or action step. The Task Force also went back to discuss some key items on the energy group from last meeting. The Task Force will present their work at the Sustainability Open House on March 15 for feedback from the community.

Agenda Minutes:

6:25 – Welcome/Agenda Review

6:30 – Approve minutes from January meeting

6:35 – Review Meeting Logistics

6:40 – The task force went through each groups’ work and reviewed and agreed on proposed Goals, Policies, and Action Steps. The groups went in the following order.

  • Education
  • Transportation
  • Energy – further discussion requested by group leader
  • Economic Development

The Task Force voted to keep, change, or drop each proposed policy and action step in the education, transportation and economic development groups. The energy group wanted to review the last four items on their policies and action steps because they felt they were important enough to include in the plan.   Revisions were made to be presented to the community at the sustainability open house on March 15.
