In this twelfth meeting, the Task
Force received a compilation of the public comments received on the
preliminary draft Sustainability Plan.
Eighty-eight public comments were received from sixteen
individuals. The Task Force split up into their topic groups to develop
responses to all of the comments. UCD staff introduced Survey #3 that
will be sent to the Task Force and the Virtual Committee this month.
The final Task Force meeting was re-scheduled to May 20, 2010.

Comments-Linda Fahrenbruch recognized staff who have worked on the
project for the last 14 months and thanked them on behalf of the Task
Force.

Move the last Task Force meeting from May 17th to May 20th

City Council Study Session – June 29th-present plan to City
Council for discussion, clarification and comment.

City Council Consideration – July 27th -present final plan to
City Council for consideration of adoption.

Survey- UCD will send the Task Force Members and the Virtual Committee
the link to the final Survey #3.
This survey is a follow-up to the public process to see if the
knowledge gained through the process has changed individual member's
attitudes towards sustainability. Survey #1 questions will be included
in this survey along with several new questions about the process.
Surveys should be completed by April 30.
6:50 – Task Force Time

The task Force split up into groups to discuss the comments on the
different topics. The five groups submitted their responses to staff to
finalize the comment/response matrix. The responses will be sent to the
Task Force, the Virtual Committee and all of the individuals that
submitted comments on the plan.

As groups finished responding to comments, they began to work on
identifying the most important action steps for their topic area.

recommendations for early action items
