to see when your area will be serviced.
Waste Items: All waste items must be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the designated
Saturday. Western Disposal will not return to a neighborhood for items not at the curb by 7 a.m.
All Spring Cleanup items will be recycled, reused, or sent to a landfill.
Western Disposal will sort and recycle scrap metal, unpainted and untreated wood items, and electronic waste from the
discards collected. All of the other items collected will be disposed of as garbage in the solid waste landfill.
Place items at the curb, taking care not to block sidewalks or
driveways. Items stacked in driveways will not be picked up.
Oversize items need to be disassembled so they can be lifted by no more
than two people. Items that are too big or too heavy for two
persons to lift will not be removed for disposal. All items must be marked
for "Broomfield Cleanup." Broken glass must be boxed and secured
with tape. All other items should be stacked, bagged, boxed or
bundled and placed parallel with the sidewalk on the curb. Please
remember to secure or remove doors on any item that may pose a safety
hazard to small children.
Reusable Items: To reduce the amount of waste going to a landfill, two parallel
collections will take place: one for waste items and one for reusable
items. The Broomfield Rotary Clubs and ARC Thrift Store will provide
FRONT PORCH pick-up of clothes and reusable items to benefit the
ARC Thrift Store. Please leave your reusable used clothing, household
goods, and useable furniture in a separate location near your front door
or porch. Call ARC at 303.238.5263 before noon on
the Thursday prior to your assigned Spring Cleanup day to assure your donation's
pickup. Please leave your
address with the answering service. Clearly mark your
donation "ARC." A tax- deductible donation receipt will be left at
your front door.
