Tree Limb Recycling Program
303.464.5651

Pile of tree limbs

225 Commerce Street (at the Recycling and Education Center site, on the northwest side)

HOURS OF OPERATION:  Due to space constraints with the small drop-off yard, the tree-limb drop-off is open and staffed on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The site will be CLOSED at all other times. This schedule is in effect year-round.

This popular program is run by Broomfield's Park Services division and is co-located within the recycling drop-off center at 225 Commerce Street. The tree limb yard is located just behind the recycling bins on the north.

Only tree branches and shrub branches will be accepted. Please do not bring  trash, sod, grass clippings or other landscape debris including lumber and fence materials. Absolutely no wire, nails or metal of any kind is allowed due to potential damage to the tub grinder and risk to the operators.  Branches more than 18 inches in diameter must be cut into 4-foot lengths.

This program is available to Broomfield residents only-NO contractors or non-residents; proof of residency will be required at the gate.  The sight is monitored 24 hours by surveillance camera, and violators will be prosecuted for illegal dumping under section 8.04.020 of the Broomfield Municipal Code.

Free mulch is available year round at the Broomfield Recycling Center. Bring your shovel and take as much as you need—there is no limit!

For more information, call Park Services at 303.464.5651 or Environmental Services at 303.438.6329.
