WASTE OIL RECYCLING PROGRAM

As a citizen of the City & County of Broomfield, you can take advantage of our Waste Oil Recycling program.  We accept used cooking oil, motor and transmission oil.  It can be brought to the Fleet Maintenance entrance of the Norman Smith Service Center at 3001 W 124th Avenue.  Place your oil to be recycled on the blue table outside and come in to fill out a quick form.  All oil containers will be returned to the owner after disposal.  We will take up to five gallons a month from a household.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call Kathy at (303) 438-6336 or
E-mail Kathy.

Waste Oil and Cooking Oil Hours:
Tuesday-Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
First Saturday of every month from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

(Except Holidays - we will be open the second Saturday instead)

If you have other hazardous household waste to dispose of, the City and County of Broomfield works with Boulder County.  They have a Hazardous Household Waste Hotline that you can call to make an appointment to dispose of your items.  Please contact them at (303) 441-4800.  You can also get more information from their website.  One to two times a year, Boulder County sets up a remote disposal site in Broomfield.  Watch your water bill or keep an eye on the main website for notice.
