Family and Children's Services strives to provide services that are prevention-oriented, integrated, family-centered and research based. One of the primary goals of the division is preserving the family to maintain children in their home with intact families.

The Operations Division of the Health and Human Services Department is responsible for the day to day operations of the department and is also responsible for Broomfield's Senior Services, Veterans Services and services to the most at-risk citizens.
