Family and Children's Services Nurturing Parenting Program
Nurturing Parenting services are offered through the Mental Health Center of Boulder and Broomfield County. The 16-week program is a free, family-centered program designed to help parents develop their nurturing skills. The program emphasizes the value of unconditional love within the family. The course teaches participants about basic child development and the processes that occur as the child grows. Parents are taught the importance of offering children choices and showing children that they are loved and respected. The research-based program helps parents be more empathetic and more nurturing. Parents of children ages 0-5 years are invited to apply for this program. Free infant and child care will be provided during these classes.
