Health and Human Services Advisory Committee - Resolution No. 2003-164 (15 citizen members serving 3-year overlapping terms, two non-voting ex-officio members serving 2-year terms, and one youth advisory member). The committee typically meets on the third Thursday of every other month.

The committee was established to perform the following functions:

Advise the Health and Human Services Department on community needs and the implementation of integrated services to address these needs;
Provide community input and feedback to the Department;
Serve as a pool for statutorily required board and commission memberships;
Encourage and promote ongoing community involvement, communication, and education regarding HHS programs; and
Participate in specific, temporary task forces on select issues identified by the Health and Human Services Department.
