Air Quality Program

The Air Quality program of the Broomfield Public Health and Environment Division provides the following services.

  • Investigate/respond to odor complaints

  • Issue open burn permits

  • Investigate/respond to fugitive dust issues

  • Investigate complaints related to air quality

  • Inspect mobile, area and point sources of air pollution

  • Enforce air quality standards

Indoor Air Quality

The Indoor Air Quality program of the Broomfield Public Health and Environment Division provides education and other resources to educate the public about and prevent and mitigate air pollutants such as mold, radon, and carbon monoxide that can permeate the home environment.
