What does the Healthy Hearts program offer?
A heart healthy lunch rich in fruits, vegetables, omega 3 fatty acids, fiber and whole grains. The lunches are offered at the
Lakeshore Café on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Call 303.464.5526 for a reservation.
A nutritional analysis of the lunch to show participants how the lunch meets their nutritional needs and how it fits into the overall
Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
A series of nutrition education topics presented by a Registered Dietitian. Click here for

Healthy Hearts Topics.
A “Healthy Hearts Oath” to live by and a “Healthy Hearts Membership Card” that makes you eligible for prizes and healthy hearts lunch passes throughout the year.
A Healthy Hearts Walking Program offered bi-annually in 10 week sessions at the
Paul Derda Recreation Center. The walking program meets twice weekly from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
