Wellness Services

Wellness Program by Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) Senior Wellness Clinic

This clinic serves persons 55 years of age and older. Services are provided by registered nurses and include health history, assessment, blood pressure and footcare. For questions or to make an appointment, contact Visiting Nurses Association at 303-698-6496. $30 per visit.


Blood Pressure Checks

North Metro Fire Rescue Authority personnel are on hand to check blood pressures the 1st Wednesday of each month at about 11:30 a.m. This is held at the Broomfield Community Center. There is no charge for this service.


Foot Care

Dr. Scott Taylor, Podiatrist, offers overall foot care such as cutting and filing of toenails, callus trimming and addresses minor foot problems. He is at the Broomfield Community Center on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a $20 fee payable directly to Dr. Taylor and a $6 fee payable to Broomfield Community Center. Loan Closet

Various assistive devices are available for loan to residents recuperating at home who have a short-term equipment need. This service is for Broomfield residents only. We will accept donations of your gently used equipment as well. No toilet seats or other unsanitary products. Please call 303-464-5526 for additional information.

Financial Assistance

If financial status is preventing you from utilizing the Broomfield Community Center or any of Broomfield Senior Service offerings, we encourage you to apply for the "Reduced Fee Program". This program is available to qualifying Broomfield senior residents for all services such as Easy Ride Transportation, Meals on Wheels, Lakeshore Cafe and Recreation activities.
