Broomfield Cultural Affairs presents Duo Firebird as a part of our free Culture Feast Series. Polish cellist Daria Joanna studied cello with one of Europe's most renowned cellists, teachers, composers and conductors, Kazimierz Wilkomirski, and received her Master of Arts in Cello Performance from the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland.

Israeli pianist Leah Peer studied with renown Israeli pianist Pnina Salzman, and received her Master of Music in Piano Performance at Eastman School of Music, in Rochester, NY, studying under Rebecca Pennys.

Both women are transplants to the Denver Metro area, with solid experience performing in numerous concerts, recitals, recording sessions, and tours across the world: Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and the United States.
