Walk with Grandma Gatewood

Join our One Book, One Broomfield challenge! Our goal is to have Broomfield
residents collectively hike 2,181 miles - the length of the Appalachian Trail.

Sign up as an individual or a team. Then send us the miles you've walked or hiked during the month of October and we'll track them on our map of the Appalachian Trail on display in the Library.

Submit your mileage one of these ways:
  • Twitter or Facebook with #WalkOneBook
  • email us at
  • fill out a paper form available at the library
  • submit this form each time you complete more miles.

You can hike anywhere, it doesn't have to be in Broomfield. Last day to submit miles is November 5, 2016!
