Facility Fees
Facility fees apply to everyone entering the building for anything other than programs: fitness, aqua aerobics, weight and cardio areas, gym, spa, pool, climbing wall, track, indoor playground, YogaPilates and equipment checkout.

Annual Pass* (BCC Only)
Purchase of a BCC Annual Pass includes entry to the BCC. Pass holders receive the following added value:
  • Free Weight Room Orientation or Youth Weight Room Certification; Must be scheduled within the first month of initial purchase. Not available on renewals
  • Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi classes held at BCC included
  • Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi classes held at PDRC included with an additional $2 Resident / $3 Non-Resident charge
  • Youth Flippity Fun and Fitness at BCC included
  • 25% off Personal Trainer fees
  • 50% discount on Zumba Drop-In Fee
  • $10 discount on massage fees
  • $2 Resident / $3 Non-Resident daily admission to the PDRC Monday through Saturday
  • Sunday admission to PDRC with no additional charge
  • $25 discount on a Bay Season Pass (residents only)

Family Pass*
Build your customized Family/Adult Couple Recreation Pass by adding together the monthly rates for the number of adults and/or children in your immediate family. (Fees listed on pages 4 - 5.) You may purchase a Family/Adult Couple Recreation Pass just for BCC or a Family/Adult Couple Recreation Pass which is good at both recreation centers. Pass holders receive the same added value as the Passes listed on pages 4 - 5. Pass fees are based on the number of family members both adult (18 years and older) and children (17 years and younger). A family includes a parent or guardian and all children claimed as dependents on your income tax and living at the same residence. All couples, regardless of marital status or orientation, who can prove they live together in the same household are eligible for the Adult Couple Pass. All adults on either pass must present a picture ID with the same residence listed at the time the ID is made. Please contact BCC or PDRC for more information. Please note the open hours for BCC and PDRC are subject to change.

Cancelling your Pass
If you would like to cancel your Pass (Recreation Pass or Punch Pass,) please fill out a Refund Request Form (link) Please note: All cancelled passes will be charged through the end of your current month and will remain active through the end of that month’s cycle. There are no refunds for partial months and there are no cancellation or processing fees. However, due to the necessary time required for processing, request forms turned in less than 5 business days prior to your monthly scheduled payment day may be processed the following month. All Punch Pass refund requests will be pro-rated as of the number of punches remaining and assessed a $10 cancelation fee. Refund Form link

Proof of Residency
  • Those who wish to obtain a resident card or purchase a pass, are required to show two forms of “proof of residency” to receive resident rates. You must present:
    • A Photo ID with your resident address
    • And one of the following:
      • Real estate tax notice with your resident address
      • Other billing notice that includes your resident address such as a water bill
  • If you work in Broomfield, you are eligible to obtain a Resident Card or Pass. You must present both of the following:
    • A Photo ID
    • Proof of employment at a resident business
  • If you are not sure whether you live within the Broomfield City and County Limits, please check your tax notice or call the Broomfield Community Center at 303.464.5500

Resident Recreation ID Card
The Resident Recreation ID card can be used to secure the Discount Daily Drop-In Fee when visiting Paul Derda Recreation Center, Broomfield Community Center or the Bay. This card is valid for two years and can be used as an Equipment Card as well. You are required to show proof of residency to receive this card.

Annual Equipment Card
An Annual Equipment Card is available with a $5 fee for non-residents who do not wish to purchase a pass or punch card. A current Equipment Card must be presented to the Front Desk Attendant when checking out recreation equipment. No other form of ID is accepted. An Equipment Card may be purchased at either Recreation Center during regular business hours. This card is valid for one year from the date of issue.

Resident Card and Pass Renewals
Each time you renew your Resident ID card, Resident Punch Card or Resident Recreation Pass you will be asked to show current proof of residency.

Replacement Card
Replacement Equipment Cards, Punch Cards, and Passes cost $5.

Drop-In Facility Use and Fitness Drop-In Fees
The drop-in fee is for building entry, building use and fitness classes and applies to anyone entering the building for activities other than programs. This fee includes the use of the weight room, gymnasium, swimming pool, spa, and drop-in fitness classes (except Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates).

Daily Drop-In Users
Anyone who wishes to pay the “Discount Daily Drop-In Fee” is required to show proof of residency or present their current Resident Recreation ID Card.

Locker Usage
Patrons are required to bring their own lock to secure clothing and valuables. Locks and property must be removed each night. You can purchase a lock for this use at the Front Desk. We check out locks at the Paul Derda Recreation Center. The City and County of Broomfield is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Yoga / Tai Chi / Pilates 10-Punch Pass
Purchase a yoga / Pilates 10-punch pass for your convenience and attend any of our classes. Please pick up a number at the front desk anytime up to 60 minutes prior to the class start time.

10- and 20-Punch Facility Pass
For convenience we offer a 10-Punch and a 20-Punch Facility Pass to be used for facility drop-in activities. This pass is priced at a discounted daily rate and can only be purchased in 10-punch and 20-punch increments. It cannot be used for Child Sitting, Yoga or Pilates. BCC and PDRC open hours are subject to change.
