The Broomfield Library Friends (BLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to promote and support the library, provide special items for the library, encourage gifts, endowments and memorials for the library, and sponsor educational community events and activities. Membership is open to everyone. Annual dues and donations are tax deductible as the law permits.

Meetings:
The Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m. at the library. January, March, May, July, September, November. Guests are welcome to attend.The Annual Meeting is held the third Thursday in September.
Membership:
Broomfield Library Friends currently has 300 members. Print out an application for membership or pick one up at the library. Categories and rates as follows:

Activities:
Broomfield Library Friends programs and activities include:
- Used book store and gift shop
- Used book sales (semi-annually)
- Children's and Teen Summer Reading Program (June-August)
- Special guest speaker programs
Volunteer members are needed to help out with fundraising projects, membership drives, used book sales, and to work in their used book store and gift shop (two hours every other week).
Gift Shop:
Friends operates a Gift Shop and Used Book Store in the library near the entrance. Members of BLF receive a 10% discount on purchases in the shop plus other benefits.

Are you ready for a Book Sale? We have one for you! March 31, the Broomfield Library Friends will have our BIG book sale from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Broomfield Library and Auditorium lobbies. There will be fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, science fiction, romance, children's books and much, much more. Novels you will want to read, biographies you will enjoy and cookbooks to make your mouth water. Support your library and its wonderful programs! Don't miss this sale!
