When the library is closed you may return books to the outside book
drop located next to the front entrance or at the drive-up book drop. Books may also be returned to other libraries in the area. They will
be returned to Broomfield via the Central Colorado Library System courier.
There is a fine of ten cents per day for each overdue item with the exception of periodicals which are twenty-five cents fine for each day overdue, and videos/dvds
which are $1.00 per day. Juvenile magazines have a fine of ten cents per day.
You may place a hold on circulating library materials which are not
immediately available. Holds may not be placed on magazines. You will be called
when the item is available to be picked-up at the library. There is no charge for reserving materials.
You may call to see if a particular item is available in the library. If available, materials can be held for you to pick-up at the Circulation Desk. Items will be held until close of the following day.
To place a hold or check for available materials, please call the Circulation Desk at 720.887.2350 or 720.887.2300. You may also request items and place holds via library computers or through the Internet from home. This can be done by using the Request Tab for local libraries or the Search Prospector button for a wider database of area libraries. You will need your library card barcode number to place a hold.
