Donations of books, videos, music, audiobooks, and magazines are accepted through the Broomfield Library Friends. Donated materials must fit the following criteria:

Acceptable Donations:

• Must be in good condition

• Hardbacks and paperbacks:
  Fiction: current bestsellers, older hardbacks, children and young adult titles
  Non-Fiction: all categories

• Textbooks: copyright within the last five years

• Magazines: No older than 3 months: popular women's, news, science & technology, cooking, crafts, decorating

• Videos and cassettes

• Records (LP's, 45's)

Unacceptable Donations:

• Poor condition, any book, etc. that is badly torn, dirty, musty, with mildew or mold

• Encyclopedias

• National Geographic magazines

• Old/ outdated reference material or technology books

• Any textbooks older than five (5) years

Materials donated to the library will either be added to the library collections or sold by the Broomfield Library Friends.
