The Broomfield Library
Friends (BLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable
organization whose mission is to promote and support the
library, provide special items for the library, encourage
gifts, endowments and memorials for the library, and sponsor
educational community events and activities. Membership is
open to everyone. Annual dues and donations are tax
deductible as the law permits.
BLF's Executive Committee (governing board) is a group of volunteers and its officers are:

Meetings:
The Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m. at the library. Guests are welcome to
attend.
The Annual Meeting is held in September.

Activities:
Broomfield Library Friends programs and activities
include:
- Used book store and gift shop
- Used book sales (semi-annually)
- Children's and Teen
Summer Reading Program (June-August)
- Special guest speaker programs
Volunteer members are needed to help out with
fundraising projects, membership drives, used book sales, and to work in
their used book store and gift shop (two hours every other week).
Gift Shop:
Friends operates a Gift Shop and Used Book Store in the library near the
entrance. Members of BLF receive a 10% discount on purchases in the shop plus
other benefits.
