Movie Matinees will be on the 2nd Friday of the month at 2 p.m. in the Eisenhower Room of the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library (running through May). (Children under 13 must be accompanied by someone 13 or older.)

How a Colorado Aviation Pioneer Made the Skies Safer for Everyone

Thursday, March 29 @ 7 p.m. Capt. Jepp and the Little Black Book is a fascinating look at the early days of flying and the life of this formerly unsung hero of the skies.  In 1990, Elrey B. Jeppesen was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame; and in 1995 the main terminal of the new Denver International Airport was named in his honor. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
