How to Register:

1) Summer reading begins on June 1. You may register at the library any time on or after this date. Registration ends on July 18.
2) Visit the Children's Desk at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library.
3) Fill out a registration form.
4) Listen to the Children's Staff as they explain the guidelines of the 2009 Summer Reading Program.
5) Receive your tally sheet. The tally sheet is where you record how much time you spend reading this summer.
6) Begin reading and keeping track of your time!
6) Collect prizes for each level of reading you complete this summer.
All prizes must be collected by 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2009.

Don't Forget...

-> Children from birth through starting 6th grade are eligible to participate in our reading program.
-> Start counting your reading after you register for this reading program.
-> Read books at or above your reading level. Non-readers may be read to.
-> You may only count each book you read once for the program.
-> Read books that are new to you. Books you have read before do not count.
