On this page you will find information about the Teen
Zone, specifically what services the library provides for teens.
The Teen Zone is located on the 2nd floor of the
library. It is staffed and designated for teens at the following times:

During the summer reading program, the Teen Zone Desk is staffed all hours that the library
is open.
Services
Young Adult Services offers reference and reader's advisory services
for middle school and high school students, and people who live and work
with teens. Tours and classroom visits are available with advance
notification and can be scheduled with the Young Adult Librarian at
720.887.2366.
Collection
The Teen Zone houses Young Adult (YA) fiction, graphic novels, and
magazines. These books are written for the 12-18 year old age group. The
YA non-fiction books are shelved with the adult non-fiction. Special
collections, new books, and featured reading topics are displayed in
special areas.
Music, Audiobooks, and Videos are also purchased for the teen
collection and are housed with the adult collections on the 1st floor of
the library.
Programs
Teen programs and special events
are planned throughout the year by the
Teen Advisory Board. Check the
Teen Events
page for monthly activities. Programs are designed for teens in grades
6-12 or ages 12-18 years. A Teen Summer Reading program runs from June -
August every year. Most programs require registration unless otherwise
noted. To register please call (720.887.2360) or stop by the Teen Zone
Desk.
Computers
Internet and Word Processing computers are available in the library.
Three filtered computers are located in the Teen Zone.
