Teen Advisory Board
1st and 3rd Mondays, 4-5 p.m.

Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to join TAB and help plan library programs, write for The 411: Teen Zone Newsletter, and make recommendations for teen books, music, and videos. Stop by the Teen Zone for an application.

Boost Your Brain
Every Tuesday Evening,
5-7 p.m.
No tutoring during Spring Break on Mar. 27 and Apr. 3.

May 15 is the last tutoring session before summer break.

Free math and science tutoring. Half-hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the Teen Zone. Call 720-887-2360 for more information.

 

 

Manga Art Jam
1st Sundays, 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Like comics and manga? Tried drawing those big-eyes characters, but don't know where to start? Want your superhero to look ready to save the day? Artist Zach Bassett leads this informal drawing club. He'll give you tips to capture the essence of your characters. Bring your sketchpads for sharing and drawing.

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2-4 p.m.

What could be better than cake on a stick? Come learn how to make cake pops. Then get creative with decorating these sweet and tasty treats. Just in time for Valetine's Day. Taught by Super Kids Cooking.

Pathways to Parenting: Secrets to Effective Parenting
Monday, Feb. 13, 6-8 p.m.

Parents, view a video on Secrets to Effective Parenting with panel experts and join in an open discussion with local psychologist Dr. Lisa Templeton. Get your questions answered!

 

Game Creation
Saturday, Feb. 25, 1-4 p.m.

Think playing computer games is fun? Try making your own! Design and build your own arcade-style video game. Plan the action, create the characters, and put it all into motion. Take home a copy of your game and the software so you can keep creating at home. Taught by Bits, Bytes, and Bots. Ages 9-14 only.

Marine Biology

Discover the water world of jellyfish, sea horses, sharks, and other ocean creatures. Learn about marine vertebrates and invertebrates by seeing and touching museum specimens. Taught by CU Science Discovery. Ages 9-14.

Teen Tech Week
