Media Release January 16, 2003 Media Contacts: Rosann Doran Broomfield’s HHS offers pocket-sized birth certificatesColorado-born students planning travel outside the U.S. over spring break – or any time – may want to visit the Broomfield Health and Human Services Department to get a new, pocket-sized birth certificate. The alternative of a pocket-sized birth certificate is a travel convenience when proof of U.S. citizenship might be needed. It is an official, Colorado state-issued certificate. Birth certificates, both pocket-sized and the traditional size, are available at HHS to persons born anywhere in Colorado. The cost for a pocket-sized birth certificate is $15 for the first copy, $6 for additional copies. The Health and Human Services Department is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. HHS is located in Broomfield at 6 Garden Center, east of U.S. 287 and north of Midway Blvd. Contact Vital Records at HHS at 720-887-2270 for further information. | ||||||||||
