Media Release March 11, 2003 Media Contact: Rosann Doran CSU Extension needs master gardeners in BroomfieldWanted: Trained Master Gardeners living in Broomfield. The Broomfield Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program would like to meet you. An orientation meeting and potluck lunch on Friday, April 4, at the Health and Human Service Building, #6 Garden Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. has been scheduled to bring together local Master Gardeners. Participants are asked to bring finger foods, salads, and other cold dishes to share for the potluck luncheon. Coffee, cold drinks and dinnerware will be provided. The meeting will include information and a discussion of the Broomfield Master Gardener program, upcoming plant clinics, the xeriscape garden project. Organizers hope to establish a network for providing phone assistance to Broomfield residents.
