Tax division offers free class for retailers, vendors, accountants

Attention retailers, vendors and accountants! Broomfield’s Sales Tax Administration Division invites you to attend free classes designed to assist with filings of sales tax collections and personal property taxes.

Classes include information on Broomfield’s conversion to self-collected city sales tax, sales tax procedures and requirements, identification of taxable property, documentation procedures, filing requirements, and record keeping.

The Broomfield County Assessor’s Office will give also an overview on personal property tax filings and valuation procedures.

Classes are in the Zang’s Spur conference room in the Broomfield Municipal Center, One DesCombes Dr, Broomfield, CO 80020.

The next class is Thursday, July 10, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Bal Swan training room on the lower level of the Broomfield Municipal Center, One DesCombes Dr.

The next class session is Oct. 7.The classes are free, provided by Broomfield as part its customer service outreach.
