Interested in Original Broomfield and what its future holds?

Residents are asked to come to an open house and participate in the Neighborhood Planning Study for Original Broomfield to offer ideas and express any and concerns for the future of the area.

The open house is Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Bal Swan Conference Room at the Broomfield Municipal Center, 1 DesCombes Dr.

Original Broomfield is generally west of Main St., south of 120th Ave. (Highway 287), and northeast of U.S. 36. Input received during the open house will help shape future redevelopment of this important area in the City and County of Broomfield.

Key objectives of the Original Broomfield Neighborhood Sub-Area Plan are to address quality of life in the neighborhood, business opportunities and economic development, and where and how growth and redevelopment should occur.

You may attend at your convenience – any time between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2004.

The open house is Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Zang’s Spur Conference Room at the Broomfield Municipal Center, 1 DesCombes Dr.
