Smoking ban information session will explain new law to tavern, restaurant owners

Restaurant and Tavern owners are invited to attend one of two informational meetings about the smoking ban ordinance passed by City Council in October. The meetings are scheduled Thursday, Nov. 20 – one at 10:30 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. Both meetings are scheduled in the Broomfield Auditorium, 3 Community Park Rd.

Broomfield officials will be on hand to explain the ordinance, and experts on ventilation systems will be available. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Since the new smoking ordinance goes into effect April 21, 2004, these meetings have been scheduled to give restaurant and tavern owners ample time to make business decisions.
