Media ReleaseMay 24, 2004 Media Contact: Rosann Doran Public Information Officer 303.438.6308 Cable production tells ‘Making of Museum’A 21-minute documentary outlining the development of the Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum will debut on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31 at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Broomfield’s government channel, KCCB Channel 8. The “Making of a Museum” features several of the key players in the museum effort, including Vic Boccard, Barry Hildebrandt, Bob Seeber, Gordon Bennett, Joe Weibel, and Diana Wilson with introductory comments by Mayor Karen Stuart. The stories about their involvement in the museum project were taped in the Channel 8 studio. They are woven together with music and footage inside the museum. The museum is located in the city-owned building at 12 Garden Center. The city participated in the museum project by providing the space free of charge. For those who do not subscribe to cable television, a DVD of the production can be checked out from the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library. Residents can visit the museum on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. or on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. | ||||||||||
