Tax division sets summer
tax class Attention retailers, vendors and accountants! Broomfield’s Sales Tax Administration Division invites you to attend free classes designed to assist with filings of sales tax collections and personal property taxes. Classes include information on Broomfield’s conversion to self-collected city sales tax, sales tax procedures and requirements, identification of taxable property, documentation procedures, filing requirements, and record keeping. The Broomfield County Assessor’s Office will give also an overview on personal property tax filings and valuation procedures. Classes are in the Zang’s Spur conference room in the Broomfield City and County Building, One DesCombes Dr., Broomfield, CO 80020. The next class is Thursday, July 15, 2004 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The classes are free, provided by Broomfield as part its customer service outreach. Later classes are scheduled for July 15, and Nov. 10, also from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
