Broomfield seeks applicants for Board, Commission, Committee appointments
Broomfield residents wishing to serve
as volunteers on boards or commissions have until Monday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. to
apply.
There are 30 openings for full positions, and more residents are needed to
fill recent vacancies and alternate positions. Broomfield government officials
take pride in the high level of interest that residents display in
participating on these boards, commissions and committees, and value the
advice the groups offer. All interested residents are encouraged to apply.
Applicants can obtain an application at the Community Assistance Center in the
City and County Building, 1 DesCombes Dr., or retrieve one off of the Web site
at http://www.ci.broomfield.co.us/council/application_vacancy_summary_11_04.pdf
.
Vacancies will occur on the 13 volunteer advisory groups at the end of the
year. Applicants must be residents of Broomfield. After applications are
received, interviews will be scheduled for Monday, Dec. 6 and Monday, Dec. 13,
if necessary. Appointments will be made at the regular city council meeting on
Dec. 10. Terms begin January 1, 2005.
