Tax division offers free class for retailers, vendors, accountants
Broomfield’s Sales Tax Administration Division invites you to attend free classes designed to assist with filings of sales tax collections and personal property taxes.
Classes include information on Broomfield’s self-collected city sales tax, sales tax procedures and requirements, identification of taxable property, documentation procedures, filing requirements, and record keeping.
The Broomfield Assessor’s Office will give also an overview on personal property tax filings and valuation procedures.
Classes are in the City and County Building at One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, CO 80020.
The next class is Thursday, Feb. 24, 2004 from 9 to 11 a.m. The classes are free, provided by Broomfield as part its customer service outreach. Later classes are scheduled for May 17 and August 10, also from 9 to 11 a.m.
To register for these classes, send business name, address and type of business, the date of the class you will attend, names of those attending, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address, if available, to: Sales Tax Division, 1 DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, CO 80020.
