Gilmore promoted to IT director post Kale Gilmore has been promoted to Director of the Information Technologies Department for the City and County of Broomfield, effective June 3. Gilmore was appointed deputy director of the department in March of 2004 by former director Greg Anderson. Anderson announced his resignation last month to return to the private sector. Gilmore is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a bachelors degree in computer information systems. Prior to his employment with Broomfield, he worked for Eyeris, Inc. as a consultant, Aspect Communications as a senior solutions consultant and Qwest Communications as a lead systems engineer. Gilmore is a graduate of Broomfield High School and lives in Broomfield with his wife, Claire, and two children. He spends his free time participating in youth sports in the community.
