Medicaid Mental Health community meeting set Like other jurisdictions in Colorado, Broomfield will be hosting a community meeting for the public regarding recent changes in the Medicaid Mental health program recently made by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. In order to ensure the public understands the modifications and impacts on customers, Broomfield’s community meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Flatiron Shopping Center – upstairs next to Eddie Bauer. Broomfield’s is one of a series of community meetings scheduled this summer throughout the state. Broomfield is served by Boulder-Broomfield Mental Health. Broomfield’s Department of Health and Human Services is encouraging clients, family members, advocates, other interested groups and individuals to attend these meetings and to share feedback, concerns and suggestions regarding the Mental Health Program. The topics that will be discussed include:
Anyone interested in the current status of Medicaid mental health services in Broomfield, and those interested in providing input, feedback and suggestions to improve the quality and availability of mental health services provided in Broomfield are encouraged to participate.
