CONEZONE The following information represents planned construction activity scheduled by Broomfield that will affect traffic for the next week or as indicated. All construction will proceed weather permitting. Motorists are asked to keep in mind that any unanticipated emergencies are not scheduled and could also affect traffic flow until the needed repairs are complete. August 8-9: Zuni Street overlay between 128th and 136th. August 10: Aspen Street overlay, 136th to 144th. August 11: Dillon Road overlay from Aspen Street west to the city limits. Motorists will experience lane closures and lengthy delays. Alternate route is advised. Traffic will be managed by flaggers. Aug. 4-26: paving on Lowell between 128th and 136th, Zuni from 128th to 136th, Ash from 11th to Midway. Traffic can expect lane closures and alternate routes may be preferred. Lowell Boulevard: from Westlake Drive to the entrance to the Paul Derda Recreation Center, construction trucks will be entering and exiting Lowell, and will be using traffic signals. Caution is advised in this area. Anthem area: construction continues. Detours, flagger controlled work areas and minor delays can be expected indefinitely. The Anthem area is generally between Huron and Tennyson from Colorado 7 to the Northwest Parkway. Lowell Boulevard: at 160th Avenue, street construction continues. Expect detours. Tennyson Street: from 160th north to Colorado 7, site work continues. Flagger controlled crossings can be expected with minor delays not lasting more than five minutes. 160th Avenue between Huron and Lowell: area site work with hauling continues. Flaggers control traffic. Minor delays not more than five minutes can be expected. Sheridan Boulevard: construction continues between 9th Avenue and Aspen Creek Drive. Work will be heaviest at the intersections of Sheridan and 13th and Sheridan and 136th. The west half of the intersection at 13th Avenue and Sheridan is closed to traffic. Expect traffic alignment changes and traffic delays at 136th Avenue. Broomfield County Commons Open Space work is under way. The area is closed to the public for trail construction and site improvements. For your safety, please respect posted signs. The parking lot at Tom Frost Reservoir will remain open. The Colorado Department of Transportation reports that southbound and northbound traffic on I-25 from Colorado 7 to 120th Avenue continues to be affected by paving operations. Speed is reduced through the work zone to 55 mph. Ramp closures can include: E-470/Northwest Parkway to southbound I-25 detoured to Colorado 7, southbound I-25 off-ramp to 136th Avenue detoured to 120th Avenue, southbound I-25 off-ramp to 136th Avenue detoured to 120th Avenue, 136th Avenue to southbound I-25 closed and routed to Huron and Washington, northbound I-25 off-ramp to 136th Avenue detoured to 120th or Colorado 7, 136th Avenue to northbound I-25 closed - routed to Huron and Washington.
