State sets meetings to review child care provider licensing rules, procedures

Area residents are encouraged to participate in upcoming meetings on October 25 and again on November 8 at Front Range Community College in the library, room L211, to discuss changes needed in the state’s child care provider licensing rules and procedures.  The meetings will start at 7 p.m.

Child care providers and parents are especially encouraged to participate – their input is critical. Also invited are parents, providers, county and state child care staff members and experts in the field of child care.

Every five years the Colorado’s Division of Child Care conducts a public review of child care licensing rules and procedures.    This year, meetings are scheduled statewide between October and December.
